Hi, my name is Emma.

My background is in Management, and I have often found myself in supportive roles and had a strong interest in helping people develop and grow. After gaining some experience in Palliative Care I decided that I wanted to further my career in Wellbeing and Mental Health.

I also work as a bereavement volunteer for a National Bereavement Charity and have experience in working with bereavement, grief, and loss. I find my work deeply rewarding and feel privileged to be able to support people at some of the hardest times of their lives.

I understand that we can all experience personal challenges and difficulties that can at times be debilitating and require us to seek help, I believe that therapy offers a space to hold some of these things up to the light and gain a deeper awareness of ourselves, my role is to offer you a safe, non-judgmental and empathic approach to support you in that process.

I work in an integrative way and the therapies that I draw on are Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Transpersonal, and Gestalt to be able to tailor our time to meet your individual needs.

I am currently completing my Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and work with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Ethical Framework. I continue to develop my practice by attending regular continued professional development.

I invite you to schedule a session and look forward to working with you soon.
