Our basic safeguarding course is designed to provide you with an understanding of how to protect vulnerable individuals from harm. This course will be held over six online sessions, each lasting up to one hour.

During these sessions, you will learn about the different types of abuse and neglect, as well as the signs and symptoms to look out for. You will also learn about the laws and policies in place to protect vulnerable individuals and how to report any concerns.

Additionally, the course will cover how to create a safe environment and how to respond appropriately in the event of a safeguarding incident. You will also learn about the importance of confidentiality and data protection. By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of your role in protecting vulnerable individuals and will be able to apply this knowledge in your personal and professional lives.
